Alignment Correction
Are you looking to buy or install suspension alignment components? Our friendly team of suspension experts can help!
Here at Wilkinson Suspension Centre, we have extensive experience with installing and setting up suspension alignment components for both everyday vehicles and dedicated track cars.
Send us your enquiry today via our Contact Form, or give us a call on (08) 9370 2646.
For more information about our suspension alignment components, we have put together this comprehensive page. Keep reading to find out what these suspension alignment components typically consist of, why you should get them and how they will benefit your vehicle.
Typically consisting of adjustable adjustable control arms (upper and lower), Camber and Toe arms, steering knuckles, end links and associated bushes. These components can deliver significant gains in vehicle balance, steering feel, drivability, tyre performance and wheel fitment.
Camber is the vertical angle between the vertical axis of a wheel and the vertical axis of the vehicle when viewed from the front or rear.
Camber arms come in the form of front, rear, upper, and lower arms that allow you to add positive or negative camber after lowering or lifting the car, increase the amount of tyre contact with the road, and lessen the uneven wear on your tyres from too much positive or negative camber.
Caster angle affects steering balance, high speed stability, and how effective your front end cornering is so being able to adjust caster after lowering or lifting your car is crucial.
Caster is the angle of the steering axis from the vertical axis of the wheel as seen from the side of the vehicle. Many camber arms available on our site will also allow for small caster adjustment as well.
Extra alignment adjustability when you need it
Our adjustable arms come in a variety of options specific to each vehicles make and model and purpose. Adjustable arms are typically used to correct Toe and Camber on Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) vehicles or diff position and pinion angle on Solid Axle (Live Axle) vehicles. Contact us to today to see what is available for your vehicle!
Whiteline boasts a worldwide reputation as a leading manufacturer of replacement, enhancement and performance suspension components that deliver significant gains in vehicle balance, steering precision, grip levels and outright driving performance.
SuperPro is part of an organisation with decades of service, fitment, design and manufacturing experience with suspension parts and poly bushing. Roadsafe’s steering and suspension parts line-up are the most comprehensive in Australasia. The range includes replacement ball joints, tie rod ends, rack ends, drag links, idler arms, pitman arms and much more.
Handling Components
Are you looking to buy or install suspension handling components? Our friendly team of suspension experts can help!
Here at Wilkinson Suspension Centre, we have extensive experience with installing and setting up suspension components for both everyday vehicles and dedicated track cars.
Send us your enquiry today via our Contact Form, or give us a call on (08) 9370 2646.
For more information about our suspension handling components, we have put together this comprehensive page. Keep reading to find out what these suspension components typically consist of, why you should get them and how they will benefit your vehicle.
Typically consisting of adjustable sway bars (also known as Stabilizer Bars or Anti Roll Bars), chassis bracing, alignment products and chassis control bushing kits. These components can deliver significant gains in vehicle balance, steering precision, grip levels and outright driving performance.
Sway bars dramatically improve the grip, handling and performance of your vehicle.
Cornering loads are spread more evenly across the tyres delivering more grip and frankly, that’s what it’s all about. You also get improved tyre wear as your tyres stay flatter and more upright. Comfort improves because your car sits flatter through bends meaning less movement inside the vehicle.
Front Wheel Drive
Increase the rear sway bar size to neutralise understeer.
Rear Wheel Drive
Increase the front sway bar size to neutralise oversteer.
All Wheel Drive
Increase rear then front bar size to fine tune handling behaviour.
4 Wheel Drive
Increase front then rear bar size to neutralise understeer.
Engineered “Synthetic Elastomer” bushings feature the quality ride of rubber at lower speeds and at higher speeds react when under cornering, accelerating and braking loads, for CHASSIS CONTROL and improved handling. Replacing or upgrading bushings is an affordable and effective way to increase your vehicles handling characteristics.
Resistant
Resistant to chemicals, oils and weathering.
Handling
Enhanced handling, steering response and road holding stability.
Better Braking
Increased braking capacities and positive brake pedal ‘feel’.
Alignment
Wheel alignment rectification and optimisation.
Weight aside, the more bracing - the better.
Chassis bracing maintains alignment angles and spring rates by greatly reducing body or chassis flex. In fact, it helps every component in the suspension system do its job properly and you can feel the difference through improved turn-in, sharper steering response along with greater steering feedback due to enhanced rigidity.
Strut bars/ strut brace/ strut tower bars not only makes your vehicle handle better they look great on the car as they feature premium polished alloy materials and powder coated end brackets.
Coilovers Perth
Are you looking to buy or install coilovers in Perth? Our friendly team of suspension experts can help!
Here at Wilkinson Suspension Centre, we have extensive experience with installing and setting up coilovers for both everyday vehicles and dedicated track cars.
Send us your coilover enquiry today via our Contact Form, or give us a call on (08) 9370 2646.
For more information about coilovers, we have put together this comprehensive page. Keep reading to find out what coilovers are exactly, why you should get them and how they will benefit your vehicle.
To top it off, we’ve listed some of the most frequently asked questions we’ve heard about coilovers!
The word coilover is an abbreviation for ‘coil spring over shock absorber’ which is exactly the construction of a coilover. Most commonly an aftermarket “coilover kit” offers ride height adjustability through threaded adjustable spring seats.
A coilover suspension system works in the same manner as a conventional strut and coil spring suspension. The spring takes the load or weight whilst the shock absorber controls the motion of the spring.
A good quality coilover will be designed specifically for the vehicle with extensive testing performed on both the spring and shock absorber to achieve seamless performance.
Additionally, an aftermarket coilover kit will feature one or more adjustability options depending on the brand or type of coilover kit.
Continued...
Adjustable coilover kits are designed with a threaded shock body to allow the spring seat to be adjusted up or down the shock absorber body. This adjusts the position of the spring in order to change the ride height, suspension droop, compression travel and in some cases spring preload.
Damping adjustable coilover kits are designed with an external dial or ‘key’ to allow adjustment of the shocks internal valving. A coilover kit can feature either independent compression and rebound adjustment or combined compression and rebound adjustment, depending on the application.
This feature allows drivers to fine-tune the ride quality, counter understeer or oversteer and alter the handling characteristics which is ideal for track use.
Whether you want to improve your vehicle’s looks, attend the occasional track day or have a dedicated race car, a coilover kit can be selected to match your needs.
Height adjustments achieved with coilovers do not only allow drivers to lower the vehicle’s ride height just for looks. In fact, they also lower the vehicle’s centre of gravity which contributes to a sportier feel.
Lowering a vehicle with a lowered spring kit reduces the vehicle’s suspension travel, which in some cases can be a limiting factor in terms of the amount the vehicle can be lowered by. When using a coilover, the shock absorber length is reduced to suit a lowered ride height range allowing additional scope for the ride height to be decreased.
If applicable, damping adjustment allows the driver or engineer to fine-tune the handling characteristics such as reducing body roll, changing the way the vehicle weight transfers and altering understeer or oversteer.
Manufactured in Germany, KW Coilovers can be found at the high end of the product range with kit options that are commonly used in motorsport. KW products are often seen at the gruelling Bathurst 12hr which is a testament to their quality, longevity and superior construction. You can find more information about KW Coilovers on our KW Suspension page.
Derived from the KW Brand, ST Coilovers are a versatile option for everyday driving or occasional track use. ST offer up to 3 variants allowing you to select the kit that suits your budget and needs. For more information about ST Coilovers, please visit our ST Suspension page.

Combined with quality sport springs made from highly durable material and a long-lasting corrosion resistance coating all ensure a quality finish and longevity. For more information about Bilstein products, please visit our Bilstein suspension page.
With options to suit street, track and ultimate high performance requirements, H&R coilovers have got all areas covered! Each coilover shock is custom-valved to work in conjunction with a precision-engineered progressive rate spring, creating a finely tuned suspension system.
